~The Colour of Success~

I think we can all agree that colour has an effect on humans as a whole. Certain colours can elicit emotions of Happiness, Sadness, Anger, and Lust/Love…..etc. Just think and I’m sure you can come up with at least 2 times colour had or continues to have an effect on your life.

But why does colour affect us so??? According to science, there are four psychological colours- red, blue, yellow and green. Each colour relates in some way to the body, the mind, the emotions and the essential balance between the three. Over all there are eleven basic colours:

RED~ Physical

Positive: Physical courage, strength, warmth, energy, basic survival, ‘fight or flight’, stimulation, masculinity, Excitement. Negative: Defiance, aggression, visual impact, strain.

BLUE~Intellectual

Positive: Intelligence, communication, trust, efficiency, serenity, duty, logic, coolness, reflection, calm. Negative: Coldness, aloofness, lack of emotion, unfriendliness.

YELLOW~Emotional

There has always been major controversy about how businesses should conduct themselves amongst employees, clients, and the public. Society is constantly changing and manifesting what they consider to be acceptable business practices. And through these ever-changing opinions, we change our views on the types of companies we want to do business with. And one of the more forward thinking ideas is that a business strategy and structure should be transparent, or naked to the public.

 This nakedness/transparency when applied to business allows the public, clients and potential clients to get a very clear understanding of the business they are choosing to partner with, employ or engage.
